Mason is a big physical middie who can play at both ends of the field. He is a very good defensive midfielder, and is dangerous in transition. He has a strong righty shot on the run, but needs to develop his off hand to make his dodges more of a threat. He also needs to find a way to use his bigger frame more to his advantage on offense, he's a big strong kid that can bully defenders.
