Paden is an athletic goalie who throws nice clean outlet passes and is always looking to start a fast break. He has great reaction time on shots but he tends to guess a little early on some shots, dropping his stick when he anticipates a low shot. That will start to bite him as shooters improve. Paden needs to continue to clean up his technique in order to take the next step as a player. Once his technique is refined, he can be a really tough goalie to beat.
