Alexa is a valuable goalie. She has a fantastic presence in cage and is the backbone of the defense. Her accurate long passes clearing the ball helps jump start her offense. She is active in the clear by coming out of cage and helping her low defenders as a trail if needed. Her excellent hand-eye coordination when tracking the ball is superb. Along with an explosive first step attacking the ball and getting her body behind it. Alexa demonstrates great anticipation of where the ball is going and picks off passes near the cage creating multiple caused turnovers contributing to her team’s success. She will continue to train and improve upon her footwork to keep moving well between the pipes.
