Kai is an athletic defenseman who isn't afraid to take the ball downfield himself in transition. He does a good job of not going overboard with his checks, although there weren't a lot of examples of his 1v1 defense in this film. His stick skills and athleticism make him a better fit at LSM right now, I'd need to see more examples of him playing defense to give him a better grade there.
