Maeve is a tenacious athlete. She sees the field well and always has her head on a swivel scanning for an open teammate in transition and/or inside the 8. Her quick change of direction in her dodging and deceptive shot placements on cage make covering her difficult for defenders. She is relentless between the 30’s hustling to every 50/50 ball and is a composed ball handler when under pressure. She plays with speed and passion while redefending, which results in forcing caused turnovers with checks and interceptions. Maeve will continue to fine tune her situational awareness of when to push the fast break and when to pump the breaks to work ball after a solid defensive rep. Her defensive stance is textbook staying low and driving out her opponents down and away from goal
