Max is a very tall and ranger defender who is super smooth on groundballs and can run the field in transition. He has a good lacrosse sense and finds ways to get open on clears. He can also take some faceoffs as the situation demands, making him a more versatile player. He also plays better fundamental defense than a lot of young poles. If he can add some more takeaway checks to his arsenal, he’ll be able to better use his size and wingspan to his advantage.
