Mark is a big physical defenseman who uses his size and length to keep his man at a distance and effect passes in the air. He has great hand eye coordination, and better footwork than you would expect from a kid that big. He's athletic enough to get out in transition, but his real strength is being a shut down defender who can clog up passing lanes.
