Gavin is a smooth and athletic LSM who already has a large bag of takeaway checks to choose from. He is good on the ground and in transition, and his stick skills are very smooth for a young pole. He is very annoying (in a good way) on ball, and constantly stays in his man’s hands. Like most young poles, he does rely on takeaway checks a little too much so I’d like to see him work on his fundamental defensive footwork.
