Lane is a tall and rangy LSM who uses his reach to deflect and intercept passes with ease. He is good on the ground and has a good defensive IQ, knowing where he should be off ball. I’d like to see more examples of him playing on ball defense, but he certainly has the athleticism to be a top notch LSM.
