Maria is a solid all-around player. She can win the draw and is speedy in transition, but she can also rack up goals and assists while holding opposing attackers without a point. She is very athletic and sneaky, finding the opening for a quick cut and finish, but also makes her presence known on defense by having quick feet and aggressive body contact. She could be a good two way midfielder at the college level if she continues on this path.
