Gavin does a good job of moving in the cage, he knows where his arc is and is very measured when he moves on it. Being a lefty also gives him an advantage, since most shooters are trained to shoot at what is his stick side. He does tend to give up a lot of rebounds, and sometimes he can be a bit mechanical and stiff in net. I'd like to see him get the ball up and out on clears more quickly instead of always taking it behind the net.
