Mason isn't just a FOGO, he can stay on the field and be effective on either end. His offensive skill allows him to be comfortable with the ball in his stick off a faceoff, which can be a problem for some young FOGOs. At the X, he uses his wings effectively and has good counters, letting him win the draw even if he loses the clamp. I think his biggest struggle will be deciding where he wants to focus. Faceoffs have become so specialized that he will need to pick if he wants to be a FOGO or an all-around middie.
